Cyber Security Analyst
Current- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts generated by security systems to identify potential security incidents.- Conduct investigations into security incidents, including analyzing logs, network traffic, and other relevant data sources to determine the root cause and extent of the incident.- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.- Provide support for security-related incidents, including coordinating response efforts, conducting post-incident analysis, and implementing remediation measures to prevent recurrence.- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies through continuous learning and professional development activities.- Assist in the creation and delivery of security awareness training and educational materials for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.- Document security procedures, processes, and findings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident response plans, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery plans to ensure preparedness for security incidents and emergencies.
