Marcel Gohsen Email and Phone Number

Marcel Gohsen is a research assistant and PhD student at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in Germany and a member of the Webis group. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in 2018 and 2021 respectively. From 2015, he worked as a student assistant in the Webis group to support research in the field of information retrieval. In 2020, he joined Webis as a research assistant and PhD candidate. Since then, he has developed his research interest in the intersection between information retrieval and natural language processing. Recently, he has focused on research in the areas of conversational search, information extraction and paraphrasing, in which he has co-authored various publications. He has been involved in various scientific communities, including as a member of the CHIIR and CHI program committee and as a permanent reviewer of ACL Rolling Reviews (ARR).
