  Manage projects and project teams during design and construction at Port of Portland. Manage projects both on the Marine (Port) and the Aviation (Airport) side of the company's business. Lead project teams in highly-specialized project environments. Manage variety of project types from feasibility studies to engineering design and construction projects, on subjects ranging from equipment replacement, to water system improvements, building remodels, runway extensions, infrastructure upgrades, environmental cleanups and dredging. Tailor project approach to provide efficient and high-quality performance in both small and large team project settings. Work with multi-disciplinary teams, managing and directing all aspects of project approach including planning, permitting, contracting, design, construction, risk identification and mitigation, community engagement, stakeholder management and more. Provide leadership and expertise on all aspects of dredging-related projects for the Port's dredging programs, based on own strong extensive dredging experience. Experience includes management of the Port's Berth Maintenance Dredging program, project management of environmental cleanups, miscellaneous roles in projects like the Columbia River Channel Deepening and the Willamette River Superfund Cleanup, and planning, advice and support for the Port's own dredge equipment fleet. Specific areas of expertise include berth deepening, and cleanup dredging, remediation, placement/disposal sites, equipment studies, clamshell and hydraulic dredging, permitting and regulatory processes, Corps of Engineers cooperation, and safety.
