Executive Director
CurrentI have had great opportunities speaking at schools, churches, special events, youth ministries and Wa. State capital Olympia sharing my story of love, nonviolence and forgiveness for everyone. YVPN partners with other organizations such as Moms Demand Actions, Everytown Survivors Network, Community Pathways, 100MANARMY, Choose 180 and local high schools to come together to stop gun violence. We are planning to work together with elementary schools, community centers juvenile detention centers. We are currently looking for funding to hire teen and young adult staff, purchase laptops, video and photography equipment. We also want to help youth find resources for counseling, mentors, job and internship opportunities. Though being shot and sexually assaulted turned my world upside down I still found it in my heart to love and forgive the people who hurt me. I’m motivated to continue living my life for myself, my kids and my community. I thank God for everyone who played huge roles in saving my life. I believe with all my heart and faith in God I will walk again in Jesus’ name.Thank you so much for your love, donation and support of Youth Violence Prevention Network!!
