During my Bachelor studies in Economics and Business Administration I had an informal focus in the area of Business Intelligence & Quantitative/Research Methods. This aroused my curiosity to advance innovation & fact-based decisions in organizations. Therefore, by pursuing my Master´s degree in Statistics at the ETH, I am sharpening my competence of dealing with data (pre-processing, storage, analysis, engineering etc.) and building a solid expertise in econometrics and machine learning.On the other side, I have already gained a lot of experience in making strategic decisions as well as optimizing and digitalizing processes (board member of student initiatives and relevant job experience). As a research assistant in the area of “Start-up & Financing” I successfully faced a bunch of different challenges in the startup field (e.g. market research, financing strategies, investor decisions etc.) and passed on my acquired knowledge to students. In addition, as an analyst on Behavioral Finance I learned to present relevant findings and the company, I am working for, in the best and most understandable way. All of this has enriched me greatly.My participation in several university courses related to entrepreneurship as well as my engagement in the Foundersclub Freiburg, ETH Entrepreneurclub and Gründermagnet encouraged my interest for the whole startup ecosystem. Since I got into this environment I always seek for opportunities that could be realized through a sound business model. In fact, I aspire to realize business ideas that solve problems of the (daily) life with the help of data or to join a team of like-minded entrepreneurs.
