I grew up old school. as I can recollect from the age of 10 I learned so you need to work for what you get. so at that age I would go and help my father gift firewood. I was also told that if I walked the roads in my small community and any old man that was out in his yard doing work I had to stop and help him. that is who I am now. I am a worker first and foremost. my first real job was as a guide to fishermen and Hunters back in Newfoundland. from there I went to BC and worked in the reforestation industry for one year. then I went to Alberta I had for years and water and sewer company that in my last year changed ownership and road building was introduced to us at that point because of my ability to do math very well I became the company's in-house surveyor for the gravel portion of road building and parking lot building. from there another water and sewer company in Grand Prairie offered me a position and raise in pay that I could not refuse. once in that company they switched me to the gas portion of their company. after a few short months I became a fusion pipe worker and at one point was operating a fast fuser in the Fort McMurray area.... this company ended up in financial trouble so we were all let go and from there I quickly moved into Bridge Building and did one year in Calgary and then work for this company here in London Ontario. the need to settle push me to find a local job or I could stay in London.
