Thirty four (34) years of experience as scientist/project manager in mainly military operations research areas. Currently involved as a Cost Analysis expert in large projects for the Netherlands Defence Organisation, e.g. F-35 and for NATO, e.g. Missile Defence.Participated in several international working groups related to Cost Analysis both as expert and chairman. Chairman of the NATO Research and Technoglogy working group, dealing with “Methods and Models of Life Cycle Costing” and actively contributed to the development of an Allied Publication: “NATO guidance on LCC”.Chairman of an international working group developing a Code of Practice for LCC analysis.Chairman of the Cost Analysis Team (CAT) for the NATO Missile Defence Project.Programme manager of the TNO research programme dealing with Defence In-service management.Presented several papers at international conferences and symposia on all types of cost related topics.Specialties: Main specialty is Life Cycle Costing and Cost Analysis.Specific areas of competence also include business cases, affordability studies, cost-benefit analysis, in-service management and logistics.Past experience include simulation, optimization, scenario-analysis, statistical analysis, operational requirements analysis and both scheduling and linear programming techniques.
