According to people who should know, my parents, I had been telling people since I was three years old that I wanted to do the same as my dad when I grew up.Then I bought my first computer at 17. The rest is history.I started learning about, then fixing, then building PCs. In 1998 while living in the US and working as an intern for a webdesign shop I met a guy who programmed one of the first e-Banking solutions. I had no idea about programming and it looked all Greek to me. It was only later that I found out why - it was written in Perl. Either way, I was so impressed that I spent the next few years studying computer science at a university back home soon after.I have well over twenty years of experience building web-based systems and IoT applications both large and small. I have been contributing to open-source projects for nearly as long.Other than that I love and care for mother nature. Yes, I have a green heart. The wiser I get, the less tolerable I become towards behavior that destroys the livelihood for our children and future generations. The circular economy and the Five R's have become guiding principles.
