Flugsicherungsfachmann HFMain Tasks:Helpdesk - support and handling of all questions in connection with skybriefing, AIP products and SFO Tool via phone and e-mail. Flight plan handling - processing, validation and addressing of flight plans and associated ATS messages including content analysis, syntax, addressing and data conformity. Correction and optimization of planned routes and distribution of the ATS messages to all required ATC units. Briefing – Advisory of flight crews with regards to planned flights (worldwide) using official AIP, NOTAM etc. Support pilots in creation of flight plans, route choice, alternative airfield and request adequate overflight and landing permissions. NOTAM – Evaluation of message relevance and processing of received worldwide NOTAM. Preparation and publication of Swiss NOTAM with consideration of international rules and standards. Handling, evaluation and publication of military firing exercises on possible endangerment of civil and military aviation for entire Switzerland. Daily creation and distribution of the DABS chart. AIP Library and Screening - Analysis, processing and administration of worldwide aviation manuals, such as AIP and corresponding publications (ca. 160 countries), regarding relevance for aviation personnel. Screening of all aviation manuals, filtering according to customer specific data and electronic provision to the customers. COS - Acknowledgement and transmission of alarm inquiries affecting air traffic to the competent emergency authorities. Handling and settling orders in line with COS and NAZ. SPVR-function to upkeep the 24 hours shift operation. Additional tasks: - Lead of DBU (Database Unit) – Creating and maintaining Business Rules in Java for the AFPS (AIS/ARO Flight Plan Server) to facilitate correct addressing, validation and automation of ATS Messages using JIRA for progress tracking. - OJTI (On the Job Training Instructor)- EXM (Examiner)
