There are three significant passions in my life, my family, the challenges of working within the engineering industry and racing my motorbike. From being a child I was drawn to anything mechanical (especially how to fix it) and I initially started my working life in the motor vehicle industry; working as a Tool Setter for MG Rover. Eventually it was here were I first experienced the buzz of finding engineering solutions through repairing and maintaining carousel lines to keep the assembly production lines going. I knew I had found my career direction. Joining Aggregate Industries UK Limited nineteen years ago changed my career direction and my life. Throughout the seven years I worked for Aggregate Industries I did every job possible and was trained as an engineer; and in all aspects of Asphalt production and maintenance. The dedication and passion I put into my training and work led me through a number of promotions until I was finally promoted to Head of Plant Maintenance.I took the opportunity to become Director of Operations with Q&A Site Services Limited which enabled me to push my engineering and business skills further. It was here were I was responsible for overseeing and managing large scale projects for a number of blue chip companies; for example, building Mobile Satellite Asphalt Plants for Benninghoven (UK) Ltd, Leicester. I valued my time at Q&A Site Services but due to personal circumstances I needed to find something that would allow me to stay a little closer to home. It was during my time at Q&A Site Services that I became involved and responsible for the sales department. Here I found a significant skill I did not realise I had, accompaniedd with my existing directorship abilities I successfully secured my position as Sales Director with MME Ltd. (Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineering Limited). Working at MME I was able to maintain my engineering skills whilst meeting like-minded clients who needed creative and innovative solutions to their problems. I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges that MME brought to my life and career so when the MD of MME decided to retire and close the business I knew it was my time to do what I believed I had spent all these years training to do, and founded Three System Solutions Ltd. After all these years I did not believe I could be anymore excited about my engineering career but here I am, ready for my new exciting engineering challenge!
