Techstars Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches, the event continues through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, culminating in Sunday night demos and presentations.Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education.What’s different about this event?Our Theme: Women & SDGsWe believe in the power of women entrepreneurs in making our world a better place. We are encouraging aspiring women entrepreneurs to participate and create ideas and opportunities that drive real-world social change.We are hosting this event to encourage more women to start tech businesses. We need more women startup founders to diversify the tech startup space.

• Created the brand style guide for the local partners of Massey Ferguson, Valtra and LS Tractor, providing guidance on the usage of the logo and layout of signage, letterheads, e-mails and presentations • Adapted the world brand manual for the Latin American market with the Latin American marketing team from each brand using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw • Liaised with Latin American retailers queries by phone and email regarding the brand’s style guide and visual identity • Responsible for the signage design and retail displays to be used at the LS Tractor partners shops. • Created the signage and retail display concepts using SolidWorks, 3D Studio Max and CorelDraw and presented these to the client to ensure they were satisfied with the colour, size and style • Oversaw the production of the signage and displays to ensure that they were as requested and in line with branding • Designed the interior and layout of the Harman factory showroom, to optimise sales of their loudspeakers and headphones • Modelled the project using Sketchup and presented the project to the client using 3d modelling • Trained in one Product Design intern on the main activities of the company

• Developed wayfinding projects for supermarket chains, shopping malls and a health insurance chain • Created the concept of the project, analysing the blueprint on AutoCAD to identify type and style of signage needed by carefully studying the environment and flow of people and visiting the shop floor • Developed the signage elements i.e. banners, labels, stands, pop-ups, totem signage and hanging signs using Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup, KeyShot and SolidWorks • Created technical details and the installation guide of signage elements i.e. the materials that the signage should be made from, the size, location and style of writing using CorelDraw and AutoCAD • Successfully presented the final design layout to the client
