With 13 years of experience in international education and 5 in international aid, I have been engaging HEIs, agents, professionals and students in Latin America with their counterparts globally to develop projects, semesters abroad and exchange of best practices. I've developed projects and strategies in student mobility, academic strategic alliances, partnership development and south-south cooperation. I've also led the network of accredited universities in Colombia and the Colombian network of international education, chapter Antioquia, to position Colombia as a competitive academic destination. I've also volunteered being the Chair of the Latin American Forum in the NAFSA Annual Conference during two years and I have been a speaker in international education conferences such as CAEI, EAIE, LACHEC, and HEC (Partners of the Americas). I believe in the strength of having an open mind and being open to change to advance in your goals. Teamwork, communication and personal relations are strong skills in me.
