I enjoy person centered work. I gained most of my experience supporting young childrens' learning in mainstream and Montessori education. I taught art to children, teens and adults. In and outside of work, I am interested in how I and others can lead creative, connected and sustainable lives in a way that meets our and other peoples' needs. I applied knowledge of Nonviolent Communication toward supporting children's social development and learning, as a Montessori and Art educator. Agency, critical thinking skills, and awareness of self and other were guiding values in this work. Travel and daily life has taught me that a Russian epic could be written about every human life. I plan to undertake Counselling Skills training to further develop skills useful in person centered work.
