CurrentDirects the Institute for Nursing Research and the Quality Management departments. In my capacity as a healthcare leader, I have overseen a significant transformation in the Research and Quality Management Program operations, facilitating a notable team expansion from 2 to 8 members within a three-year period, overseeing programs with more than 250 stakeholders. Through strategic initiatives, I have actively engaged stakeholders in crucial decision-making processes, thereby establishing clear research and quality management priorities. As the director of the Institute for Nursing Research, I have led efforts to enhance the efficacy of ANCC's credentialing programs while ensuring alignment of research goals across the ANA Enterprise. Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, I have spearheaded practice-based research initiatives, particularly emphasizing the intrinsic value of nursing in healthcare delivery. This culminated in the organization of the highly impactful Re-imagining the Economic Value of Nursing Summit. Furthermore, my leadership in directing strategic directions for nursing credentialing and overseeing the ANCC Quality Management System has resulted in successful ISO certification and ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Recognized with the esteemed "Shared-Decision Making Leadership" Award in 2023, I remain steadfast in my commitment to driving positive change and fostering excellence in nursing practice.
