In this role, I assit with the Cancer Research being done. Me and my peers analyze and separate the TEMPUS data gathered from each patient diagnosed with cancer. Within that data, we are able to observe the type of cancer, the genetics mutation and position within each patient, and statistical numbers. Each one of us were assigned to focus on one type of cancer, where we then have to access the hospital's EPIC system to get more in depth information on the patient, while also doing research on available FDA-approved treatments.

At Rutgers School of Nursing in Newark NJ, they have developed a teaching simulation tool in order to prepare students with real-life medical simulations that they might face when they graduate. There, we work with only the graduate students. We prepare different medical interactions, given as practice and final examinations. It helps them with translations, insurances, taxes, among many other things, in order to help the large immigrant community in Newark, NJ.I was hired for a part-time position during the Summer of 2018, where they trained me in costumer service, translation services, filling out documents, among many other tasks.
