As a Coordinator/Product Developer in a start-up, my responsibilities included understanding the market’s demands through customized surveys, creating and adapting the company services according to surveys’ results, improving the corporate structures, prospecting new clients, networking, CRM and branding. My responsibilities consisted of improving the existing processes according to the sustainability strategies established in cooperation with the company’s board, design and plan strategies to improve sustainability rules and controls through the company’s supply chain, supporting projects such as the Carbon Inventory Report (GHG Protocol), reporting to national and international indices such as Dow Jones Sustainability Index (NYSE), ISE (Bovespa) and others, HR Diversity and Inclusion, HR internal communication, Environment Management System implementation and the Annual Sustainability Report 2011 (GRI, C). At Dialog, we worked to manage the clients’ triple bottom line, assuring the clients’ venture/business would thrive economically, but that it would also increase its positive impacts and decrease its negative impacts on society and the environment. With a special focus on the social pillar of sustainability, we used dialog as a main working tool to transform business and ventures into opportunities to the stakeholders involved: society, governments and entrepreneurs.My job consisted of designing and implementing strategies, methodologies and tools to improve corporate sustainability in clients’ companies, projects and ventures. My activities and responsibilities vary according to projects, although assessments, measurements and HR training were part of my routine. Working with clients in diverse areas of expertise, I had the chance to learn very much about corporate sustainability within different sectors.
