After completing my economic studies, I transitioned into the world of 3D by attending Mesharray Digital Media School, where I gained a solid foundation through a general 3D training program. Following that, I specialized further by completing an advanced character design course. My first role as a 3D generalist in a dental-related graphic studio lasted 1.5 years, but everything changed when I was introduced to photogrammetry. Seeing my first model built from photographs was like witnessing magic—it was witchcraft!As a former photographer, I realized that I could fuse my hobby and my career in a way that felt both natural and exciting. This led me to a pivotal decision: I specialized in photogrammetry, a field that allows me to reproduce reality, which I find truly amazing.Since October 2016, I’ve been working as a Photoscan TD at Digic Pictures, where I contribute to high-end VFX projects while also collaborating with museums to scan artifacts like bones, skulls, mummies, and more. Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise into lidar scanning, further pushing the boundaries of what's possible in reality capture.My passion for this field grows every day, especially as new technologies emerge (such as smerf, gaussian splatting, 4D scanning) that blow my mind and reassure me that I'm on the right path.
