The Concord Township Historical Society acquired multiple properties that they needed to register through the state to be recognized as a historical property. This application is done through a document called a DOE. Essentially the DOE is a document that needs to be done for each property compiling all these different aspects of the property. They need sketches of the property, around 10 current-colored photos of the property, a summarized history, and a bibliography. I was hired to write the summarized histories for these properties as well as the bibliographies. Included in the summaries are the overall history of the property with a focus on the period of significance, changes the property underwent up to present day, highlighting important roles the property played in Concord Township, and comparing it to other properties it surrounds. I acquired all the information for the summaries by going through hundreds of files, newspapers, letters and other documentation about the property. I was also responsible for the bibliography and the organization of the DOE document. I added the sketches, maps, and implemented the pictures throughout.

As a shift leader, I was responsible for addressing and solving any customer concerns, opening and closing the store, and handling money between the register and the safe. During my time there I acquired excellent memorization skills to ensure order accuracy, and strong communication skills with my coworkers
