TECOM designs and manufactures specialized electronic and radio-frequency products that connect, protect and control critical systems for the wireless telecommunication, aerospace, defense, space and medical markets. My role as Compliance Specialist involves enforcing a comprehensive compliance program, policies and procedures, managing all of TECOM's import and export activities in accordance with the ITAR and EAR, handling denied party screenings, customs issues, and proper recordkeeping. It is my responsibility to work with Engineers on product classification and design intent documentation. In addition, it is my responsibility to train employees, to keep compliance in the foreground within the organization, and to keep current on all regulation changes and notices. Some accomplishments include, classifying TECOM's legacy product families, passing an audit in 2012, and smooth export processing.

My role as Cost Estimator involved working with Marketing and Engineering to put together competitive price proposals. Managing an approved supplier database was an additional responsibility. As Cost Estimator I attended the NASA/JPL High-Tech Small Business Conference to collaborate with potential new suppliers.

I joined PQC Consulting, Inc. in September of 2008 as Project/Business Manager. My previous experience included working as data coordinator at Kendle International, one of the world's leading CRO. At PQC Consulting, Inc., my role included coordinating and managing all seminars and events, client relations, and day-to-day office operations. In my time at PQC Consulting, Inc. I developed a webinar website in partnership with Bio Ops, Inc.'s IT foreman, and successfully launched it's commerciality. Among other accomplishments I moved the company location from a small office to an office with a warehouse in Camarillo, CA which required some construction, city permits, and organization of the IT infrastructure as well as reaching out to contacts regarding funding and the creation of a Board of Directors to move this small women-owned business into the Biotech Consulting foreground.
