Driven by a passion for education and nursing, I find my greatest vocational joy in working with students, particularly in the classroom and simulation environments. I have loved developing new courses and working to support curriculum revision in both colleges where I've been employed. I am an eager team member, always interested in supporting others in their endeavors, and excited to explore new ideas for active learning, student support, and course revision. Quality improvement is a consistent theme in my work, as I consistently strive to perfect assignments, teaching efforts, and student growth.My belief in the value of professional nursing organizations is evident in my long-term membership and leadership roles in the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nursing and the Oncology Nursing Society, as well as in my efforts to encourage and recruit student members. Many of my most valuable learning opportunities and professional friendships have been sparked by these volunteer activities.
