My name is Marcella Losso and I am from New York City. I am a sophomore studying Media Advertising in the Media School at Indiana University, with a minor in Marketing through the Kelley School of Business I am a leader at heart. During high school I was the president and founder of the LatinX Student Union. As the president, I planned cultural events within and outside of our school. I communicated with other clubs in our school to create collaborations to teach people about different cultures. I wanted to be a leader because I wanted my voice to be heard and make a change within our community. I benefited from having this leadership position because I learned a lot about myself as an active member in our community and I contributed to something bigger than myself.I intend to continue using my leadership skills throughout college and after.
