Marcel Langenegger is an award-winning filmmaker who directs commercials and feature films.Acclaimed for his distinct visual style and poignant storytelling, his work evokes an emotional resonance that is driven by strong performances and striking, cinematic images. He directed campaigns for international clients such as Mercedes, Intel, Nissan, Samsung, Chanel, Compaq, Lexus, Microsoft, General Motors, Red Bull and Toyota, among others.He is the recipient of multiple awards, among them Gold and Silver CLIO Awards, New York Festival awards and in 2002 he won advertising’s top prize, the elusive Cannes Gold Lion, for a memorable campaign for Doctors Without Borders.Marcel Langenegger directed his feature film debut ‘Deception’ (2008) for 20th Century Fox, a thriller starring Ewan McGregor, Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams. In 2009 he directed the acclaimed spot for The Beatles ‘Rockband’-video game, in which historical documentary footage was used so that the Beatles were able to cross the famous Abbey Road one more time. In 2011 he produced the movie ‘Frankie Go Boom’, a comedy with Ron Perlman, Chris O’Dowd, Charlie Hunnam and Chris Noth. Currently he’s in preparation to direct his second feature film, a prison-heist drama set to be filmed in Louisiana in 2013, produced by Mandalay Entertainment.
