Utilizing uniform protocols and analytics, Transition To Success™ (TTS) directly responds to the social determinates of health with research and data driven practice. TTS, a scalable, sustainable, measurable, multi-generational community based system of care that integrates existing funding streams across human services, healthcare, government and education. In the first year of a Federal Demonstration project TTS independent evaluation cited statistically significant improvement in 14 of 18 social determinants domains, including access to healthcare and income.

As the President and CEO of this accredited, comprehensive human service organization, I was responsible for overall operations for 7 divisions across 50 locations. My responsibilities included executive leadership of management, marketing, board and fund development, research and evaluation. Programming included, but was not limited to, the largest Head Start program in Detroit, MI; residential programs, low income housing, prisoner re-entry, senior, youth and after school programs, HIV/AIDS supportive care, integrated healthcare, prevention programs and community center management.During my tenure the Matrix budget increased from 17 million to 44 million dollars annually. Utilizing TTS, Matrix was awarded the largest expansion of Head Start in Detroit history. This fully funded Federal 5 year project reported statically significant improvements in parents economic self-sufficiency in the first 12 months. This grant brings $120 Million to Detroit over the next 5 years.My work at Matrix has been showcased on the CBS Evening News, Time Magazine, the NY Times, Michigan Public Radio, local media, industry publications and conferences including the 2013 Human Services Summit at Harvard University. I am an Emmy award winning creator and executive producer of “WatRUFightn4?”, a video, website and education program designed to promote volunteerism, tolerance and social activism. “WatRUfightn4?” has been downloaded in 40 countries across 5 continents.

As the President and Chief Executive Officer for BHPI / CARELINK / CONSUMER LINK, I was responsible for the startup and administration of the three healthcare corporations. Managing over 150 million dollars in annual revenues, these corporations maintained contracts with Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental Health Agency to serve the chronically mentally ill and developmentally disabled populations throughout Detroit and Wayne County.After the first year of operations, the overall cost of care decreased $17.00 PMPM while the denial rate was consistently below 2%. Enrollment based upon consumer choice increased consistently. In addition, over 90% of clean claims were paid within 30 days.
