STAR is with more than 5.500 members, of which over 1.000 international students, the largest and one of the most international study associations of Europe. As of July ’09, I am holding the full-time position of Commissioner of External Affairs within the 32nd STAR Board. The responsibilities of this function are amongst others developing and maintaining good commercial contacts with STAR’s stakeholders. Currently, this network consists of over an hundred companies, ranging from small and medium companies to large transnational enterprises. Another important aspect of this position involves providing guidance in reference to the commercial processes of more than 30 Master and Bachelor committees and the commercial team.
