2nd Line network engineer (over time)Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot Network Technologies ( mostly Cisco Devices ) such as ADSL, VPN, MPLS, DIGINET, VLAN, VSAT for all the client we outsource our network services• establishing networking environment by, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards;• maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources;• reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritising information and managing projects;• remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation and after• Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.• Performing Core Administrative/Procedural Duties and documentation of standards and processes• troubleshoot WAN/LAN connectivity issues• monitor/troubleshoot connectivity issues using performance management tools• Deliver the highest levels of network service to supporting users and applications• Ensure that all Service Level Agreement (SLA) requests are attended to within the required time framesPresent: 2nd Line Network Engineer:Responsibilities:• Configure Networks Devices (mostly Cisco Devices) based on client needs, for new clients and previous clients• implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment;• implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment;• configuration of routing and switching equipment
