I have been an artist for 30 years, although I pursued my goals while holding full-time administrative positions. I retired from administrative work in 2005 and now focus on my art. I have been represented by Bay Area galleries and my work is collections in Seattle, Sacramento, France, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, and Japan.I am active in numerous arts organizations. I am President of the Board of Directors of Shipyard Trust for the Arts (www.shipyardtrust.org) and a member of Art94124, a non-profit group promoting art in the Bayview District of San Francisco. I also provide art activities to elementary age youth in the after school program at Burnett Child Development Center as part of ArtSeed's arts program (www.artseed.org).Specialties: I am primarily an abstract oil painter focussing on color interactions. I also work in monotype and mixed media. I have begun to explore having archival digital prints made of my paintings and monotypes.
