Interpretation of carbonates at a basin to prospect/reservoir scale (including fractured carbonate plays), using seismic stratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy and seismic attribute imaging. Supports exploration and development teams assessing carbonate prospects and predicting carbonate reservoir properties through seismic analysis, field and outcrop analog study and core, thin-section and well-log integration. Teaches the internal course “Carbonates: Sequence stratigraphy and seismic interpretation applied to exploration”. Extensive and worldwide (e.g. SE Asia, Middle East, Mex/US GOM, S/N Mediterranean, Caribbean, Russia, West Africa, Black Sea, Portugal, Ireland) project work in Proterozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Tertiary carbonate plays. Developed a quantitative Seismic Scorecard tool to distinguish carbonate buildups from biasing structures using seismic data.

Carbonate and deep water exploration projects in Russia and Gulf of Mexico (Feb 2006-Sept 2007) and carbonate exploration projects in Cuba and Bahamas (sept 2007 to dec 2010). Since January 2011 in the Brazil exploration group.
