I use high-resolution hydrodynamical simulations to study the physical oceanography of coastal and subarctic environments. Specifically, I am currently interested in: ► Subarctic circulation and dynamics: in the sensitive areas of Denmark Strait and Irminger Sea for a quantification of the subarctic ocean fluxes and a better understanding of their role in climate change scenarios► Impact of coastal coherent structures on dispersion and transport of substances: in the assessment of turbulent flow regimes around capes and headlands and in the fate of wastes coming from marine fish farms.
