Marcello is an experienced Project Manager at Lutech S.p.a. He is operating as Account Delivery Manager on a large project in the Energy market. With a solid background in Software Testing (Integrated Functional Testing, Manual and Automated, Performance), his skills combine methodology competences and process/procedure implementation to improve delivery solutions in highly demanding environment. He is expert in building business relationship with key customers and target partner. He usually sustain sales in generating pipeline and achieving revenues objectives. Marcello is accountable for implementing the program/project scope, on time, within budget, with excellent quality and ensuring Customer satisfaction. He always achived target required by Margin Improvement Plans. Accountable also for managing partners and subcontractor. Within his organization, he is responsible for projects status tracking and financial control. Currently Marcello is managing contracts for an amount of 2M€ per year.

Program Manager at Micro Focus Professional Services Organization (former Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software Division). In this role Marcello had the responsability for generate the pipeline to sustain sales and Revenues/Margin objectives for the Enel Lot D contract. The project activities was focused on integration testing for business processes validation through End2End Testing. During this contract execution, Marcello pursued two main goals : Evolve testing model towards the new IT dogmas as "Agile & DevOps models" and Increase Automation and Industrialization of the produced testing assets. In this scenario Marcello designed and proposed to the Customer a Testing model to support the transition of the Testing Services from a "Waterfall" to an "Agile" approach introducing Continuous integration cycles. His project team counted more of 40 people.

Marcello, for his outstanding results, in 2017 and 2014, has been awarded with the “EMEA INCREDIBLES Recognition” assigned to few and exceptional performer who demonstrate leader attribute in all they do. In 2015, Marcello has achieved an additional EMEA recognition for “Non-Sales” person who has driven an opportunity from discovery to closure. Indeed, immediately after an Agile certification training, Marcello designed, planned and proposed to the Customer a new model for the "Project and Portfolio Managmenet Platform" software development using the Agile approach and obtaining an incredible success in terms of efficiency and cost saving. From 2013 to 2017, in his capacity of Project Manager, Marcello has been accountable for the successful delivery performed by more than 50 people and focuses on “Project and Portfolio Mgmt” and “Testing Services” solutions in ENEL ICT Italy. In this period, Marcello has achieved the SCRUM MASTER Certification (2016), the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise Org) Certification (2016), the ISTQB certification for Software Testing Methodology (2015) and the certification as “Manager Responsible for Health, Safety and Risk Prevention at Workplace (2014).

From 2004 to 2012, Project Management on the Telco and Energy markets to deliver complex projects to the major Italian accounts (TELECOM ITALIA, SAIPEM, WIND, TERNA…) has been Marcello’s area of expertise. Moreover, from 2009 to 2010, Marcello was the Team Leader (1st level of Mgmt Role) for ITSM Practice in HP Italy. In this role he collaborated with the Practice Manager and directly managed a team of 10 people in terms of resource allocation, skill development and people motivation.

In 2001, Marcello was involved in an “OSS management software vendor certification program” in UK. He was an integral part of a multi-years project for the realization of the Network Inventory System for WIND (Telco). His work was tightly linked to SW Vendor R&D for product enhancement, bug fixing and custom software modules validation. Marcello joined COMPAQ/HP in 2000 as Service Manager for the WIND (Telco) “Fraud Mgmt System”. He gained invaluable experience in operational environment performing duties focused on Unix system and Oracle database administration, managing six-people team for “24x7” service availability and being the single point of contact for customer communications.Before joining COMPAQ/HP (1990-1999), Marcello worked as a software developer in Unisys and in various mid-sized company using C Language, DBIII and PL/SQL.

In 1989 Marcello attended a military course for officers, serving as a second lieutenant at the Artillery School in Bracciano (Rome). Promoted to lieutenant in 1995. Currently, as a member of the association of retired officers, in his spare time Marcello participate in events such as competitions at the shooting range or continuing professional development courses on military topics.
