As a data scientist and engineer at ReactDx, I get to have fun electrocardiogram data every single day 🫀. Working in a medium sized-companies, I must wear many hats. Here are some of the diverse tasks I perform.- Some of my tasks include design of algorithms for time-series data processing, filtering, and feature extraction 💻-I train neural networks to detect signals from our hearts’ electrical activity, as well as design new network architectures based on the features of the signal we want to focus on and the information we desire to extract ⚡️-I clean and manage large dataset for training of these models, removing outliers, and ensuring large apunta of data can be loaded profrsssively to trainModels. -I design unsupervised techniques to ease the processing of large amounts of electrocardiogram data by our team of technicians 👩‍⚕️-I deploy some of these solutions, algorithms and processing techniques on Microsoft Azure ☁️- I explain model design and data processing decisions to my team and engineering management 🎤.

As a community director I am responsible for organizing programming for my on-campus community. Programs can seek social, cultural, or learning objectives to ensure on-campus students are getting a holistic view of the world, with life experiences that complement what they learn in class. The responsibilities of the community director role include keeping track of a team of resident assistants, coaching them to ensure they can provide meaningful programs for the students in their areas, and managing organizational budget to buy supplies for the campus community.

Worked in material characterization for a collagen lab. Prepared hydrogels of different types of collagen for SEM imaging. Preparation tasks included critical point drying and gold sputtering of delicate gels. Collected images of the gels at different magnifications under the SEM.

Helped advance research in a reticular chemistry lab. Lead the synthesis and characterization of known metal organic frameworks, as well as carrying on experiments for composition of novel ones. Some of the characterization tasks involved determining thermal stability of the compounds, solubility in organic and inorganic solvents, PXRD, and liquid nitrogen porosimetry.
