As part of the youth forum I worked with 10 other young leaders and together we helped develop football in our local area. Over the past 2 years we delivered a week long leadership camp for young people to gain experience in football and have successfully got over 200 young people nationally recognized qualifications in football. Within the program I also deliver festivals and tournaments in clubs and school where I have to do many things such as refereeing, organizing fixtures and promoting events. I also looked into issues such as retaining players in football whether it be at club level or just on a recreational level.

The Player Development Center is a program for a select group of players and is a 'stepping stone' between local academies such as Newcastle and Sunderland and local grassroots clubs. During my time with the Player Development Center, I was an assistant coach for one of the teams in the program and I would also help deliver and facilitate the weekly sessions.
