About Marcello Marchetti
I joined Microsoft after almost 20 years in the IT industry. I started my developer career copying code from specialized magazines on my Commodore VIC20 since I was a child. Once graduated, I worked for years developing vertical solutions for the food industry using different technologies.When .NET Framework 1.0 was released, I decided to invest in this new platform building in later years some ERPs in VB.NET and C# and founding my own startup MAGATEK S.r.l.In 2012 I started my game development journey, publishing dozens of mobile games using different technologies like XAML/C#, XNA/MonoGame, and finally Unity3d. I'm a member of the DotNetLombardia community and I've been speaker at hundreds of events and conferences.I'm also the author of the course “Corso introduttivo allo sviluppo di videogame con Unity 5” for the Microsoft Virtual Academy.In December 2015 I joined Microsoft as a Senior Technical Evangelist and currently I'm the Partner Technology Management Lead in Italy
