Marcello is an Actuary at Finity who has worked in the general insurance industry since 2012. Marcello was previously based in Finity’s Sydney office, but is now based out of the Melbourne office servicing a wide range of clients in both cities. Marcello leads Finity’s Insurtech and start-ups area, providing strategic and actuarial advice enables underwriting agencies develop their product, pricing and distribution strategies to launch their businesses. He has used his experience to develop innovative telematics motor products, embedded householders’ insurance offerings, as well as tech-enabled broker distributed business packages products. Marcello’s role as ‘Head of Product – Management and Marketing’ sees him using his deep industry knowledge, actuarial background, and collaborative approach to lead the design and delivery of software solutions that enable growth, accuracy and. He oversees the management and go-to-market strategies for Finity’s growing set of software solutions, and has been instrumental in the success of many individual products, including previously leading the best-in-class competitor monitoring software platform. Marcello is passionate about using technology to provide practical insights and innovative products that drive value for his clients. Marcello is a regular presenter locally and abroad, including addresses to boards, leading strategy sessions for insurers, and also addresses professional organisation including The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and the Actuaries Institute.
