As Finishing Department Process Engineer I am responsible for the OEE stabilization of the slitting assets.We work for the automotive market, therefore excellence in terms of safety, quality, service and productivity is mandatory.Following Six Sigma's DMAIC path, my first move in this position has been the creation of a KPI system to track in automatic the performances of the assets. Once able to measure, we've been able to see and understand the deviations.The benefit has been the definition, in strong collaboration with the workforce ( 45 blue collar) and staff teams, of short and long term countermeasures in order to satisfy the needs of costumers.
