With over 14 years of experience in the entertainment industry, I am a passionate and driven director of marketing and development at Protect The Creatives, a non-profit organization that provides support services and real solutions to help artists thrive in their careers. I have a master's degree in live entertainment management from the University of Miami, and a graduate certificate in entrepreneurial and small business operations from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. I am committed to creating a platform for budding creatives to express, motivate, and excel, and to aligning my values and goals with the organization's mission and vision. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked as a VIP host at Hakkasan Group, and as a chief executive officer at Mdot MerriMent, my own entertainment company.As the director of marketing and development at Protect The Creatives, I oversee the strategic planning and execution of the organization's marketing, fundraising, and outreach initiatives, as well as the development and management of partnerships and collaborations with other stakeholders in the industry. I leverage my skills in social networking, marketing communications, and new business development to raise awareness and support for the organization's programs and services, which include mental health, financial literacy, music publishing, gun violence prevention, emotional intelligence, and leadership development. I also work closely with the board of directors, the executive director, and the program staff to ensure the organization's sustainability and impact.
