Carbon offsets and sustainability management of renewable energy projects; working on the implementation to originate and develop projects to be traded on marketplaces for emissions reductions (carbon credits) and renewable energy certificates (RECs), and also started the implementation to develop marketplace in the blockchain environment.

In charge of identifying and generating environmental finance revenues from the 32 country Spanish Isolux Corsán Group’s global project portfolio, being responsible for structuring carbon finance projects including link to EPC solution and business development in the Brazilian energy sector with identification of business opportunities and analyses of investment and legal framework aspects of renewable energy projects in Uruguay, Chile and Peru, making technical-financial feasibility analysis of the infrastructure projects of high voltage power transmission lines (Brazil, Peru and US), photovoltaic solar (Peru and India), thermo solar (Saudi Arabia), wind farm (Brazil and Argentina), wastewater (vinasse) treatment and biomass cogeneration (Colombia).My participation in Isolux Infrastructure investments roadshow (raising € 600mm), was providing information on the additional revenues available from environmental assets in Isolux’s project portfolio.My achievements was the development, deployment and sustainability management of the largest interconnection of electrical systems project in Brazil, the Tucurui Macapá Manaus Interconnection with 1,800km in double 550kV circuits across the Amazon region with a total investment of around US$ 2 billion and also participated in CDM activity with project management in Brazil (500 kV interconnection), Argentina (200MW wind) and Peru (220kv transmission lines and 302MW hydroelectric).I contributed to the development of a new CDM methodology and securing its approval at the UNFCCC acting as the interface in CDM project approvals by national and international authorities, participating in policy discussions and negotiations in the international level (United Nations), and gave support for the Brazilian delegation in meetings of the United Nations Framework Climate Change Conferences.

As Manager of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Co, working in the field of business development, I structured a renewable energy portfolio in Latin America for intermediate environmental assets revenues (carbon credits) technologies including wind, hydroelectric, biomass cogeneration and geothermal, establishing strategic partnerships and cooperation agreements with other financial institutions, member of the team to structuring, analysis, selection of infrastructure projects to the private equity fund management, CDM projects negotiations as a buyers’ intermediation activities.

As a Commercial Manager of ARCADIS Tetraplan, I worked in the origination of Environmental services and Carbon Credits Project (CDM and Voluntary markets) in Latin America.

Climate Change Consultancy and Renewable Energy Business DevelopmentExperiences in the Carbon Credits Markets in London, related with climate change commerce and regulation. I worked as a Researcher in the field of CDM, EU-ETS and JI and legal elements of the Kyoto Protocol and European Union Emission Trade Scheme (EU-ETS).These working experiences exposed me to the British and European systems and regulations over climate change issues. I gained deep knowledge of legal elements of the Kyoto Protocol, Marrakech Accords and of the functioning of the European Union Emission Trading Scheme.And also spent time with Sumerleaze Ltd, a leading UK independent landfill gas operator (with 45 MW of installed energy generating capacity), who was looking to participate in projects in the developing world. In order to better understand the UK approach to project and asset finance, I spent time with and gave advice to the Co-operative Bank. Finally, I was able to develop a partnership with two organizations working on sinks projects in Brazil, Carbon Capital and Rainforest Concern.
