I’m currently working at SERPRO, the largest state IT services company in Brazil. I'm a Senior Software Developer and Team Lead working in Agile software development. I have experience with Full-stack application development of custom tailored software for different Government clients, from Human Resources focused application to Revenue Services focused apps. I’m usually involved in all phases of the projects, from initial interviews with clientes, Requirements elicitation and documentation, prototyping, development to deployment and production maintenance. I have worked on a couple of different projects, some using In my current project, I'm part of a small team responsible for maintaining and improving an existing Electronic Document Management module used by several applications inside a broader RH focused suite. We work using some Agile methodologies such as Kanban, Lean Development and daily meetings, among others. It was developed in Java 7 running over JBoss EAP, providing several functionalities through both SOAP and REST interfaces.One of the tasks I was responsible for on this project was to migrate data from an older system which used MySQL to our database on Oracle. Our system was based and expanded upon the older one, with numerous new features, but kept some basic functions. The database model was completely different, so I had to study it, map all the required fields, transform some of the values and finally extract the values so that our system could process it and run the business logic over those records before importing them to our Oracle database.I also interact with our PO and users, discussing their needs, eliciting requirements, writing Business requirements, use cases, data model, among other documentations. I have experience with most roles in a development team, including backend and frontend coding, testing, data modeling, a little bit of devops, along with client interactions during the development phases.

Maintenance and development of J2EE applications for both International and National clients.For the International clients, we used primarily RAD7 as the IDE for development, WAS server, Oracle and MS SQL Server as databases, Hibernate and Struts as base frameworks for the applications. On these projects we used English on a daily basis for work related activities, working remotely for two different International investment banks while based in Brazil.For the national clients we worked primarily with Web Application development using Java as the main language, with Oracle and MS SQL as databases, and several frameworks to help in the process, such as Hibernate, Struts, iReport and UniFW (in house developed Framework for Java and VB.net projects).I had my first experiences being the Team Lead on two of the projects I worked on. On those projects, I was responsible for supporting the junior members of the team with business or technical related questions.
