In December 2023, he was appointed Secretary for International Economic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship. Ends his functions in November 2024. In 2016 he was appointed Ambassador to the International Organizations in Geneva (including WTO, WIPO and ONU), then in 2018 Ambassador to the European Union, and in 2020 Ambassador to Belgium and Luxemburg. He returns to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in Argentina in 2021.During his junior diplomatic career he was posted to the Mission of Argentina to the European Union and the Embassy to the United States. He was in charge of Public Diplomacy which includes bilateral cooperation on science and technology, education, health, public policies, environment, public communication, press and cultural management. In Argentina he was member of the Minister Cabinet, the Secretary for Economic Relation Cabinet, he was in charge of the Investment Agency and the Department of Trade Promotion. During his diplomatic career he was part of the negotiator team on the climate change convention, biodiversity convention, Cartagena protocol convention, FAO international genetic resources agreement, investment facilitation WTO iniciative, and the Mercosur/European Union agreement.
