Have you ever been drawn down unknown paths?I do, and that's why I want to tell you how an Industrial Engineer, Master in Business Administration, found his passion in numbers, customs laws, commercial administration and the supply chain.It all started in 2006, when I made the decision to explore the exciting world of logistics, being a Logistics Assistant, there were many learnings, my professional life began to revolve around the import and export processes of consumer products, negotiation with suppliers, customs laws, procedures, by land, air and sea, that is why I began to prepare with the firm conviction that one day I would be responsible for the integral administration of the supply chain.Years later, in 2011, I fulfilled that professional objective, serving as a logistics manager and facing the great challenge of managing the supply chain and being responsible for the supply policies of a retail company, I was able to increase the Fill Rate by 14 percentage points and the consquence was an increase of total stores sales by 7%.Having fulfilled this dream, I decide to go for the next one, taking advantage of the knowledge and experience acquired, I managed to develop private label products and coordinate the sale of tenders to the public and private sector, reaching an increase together with my team up to 30% in sales yearly.In 2018, I was once again captivated by the logistics area and became the manager of a company in another from a totally different industry (apparel manufacturing), where I was responsible for the Imports and Exports of raw materials and finished products from and to the five continents, there, We managed to reduce export costs by 20% and lead time to customers by 50%, by searching for new suppliers and executing continuos process improvement in all departaments.I want to contribute my training and experience to improve the processes of your company and have a direct impact on the income statement, do not hesitate to contact me at the email marceloehs@gmail.com
