Key responsibilities: • Execution of complete design studies for pump-units in collaborative effort with several suppliers. This included pump and motor casings, rotors and internal parts, cooler, auxiliary components and accessories as well as calculations of the pressure retaining parts and all components involved • Development and design of complex subsea pump units for petroleum exploration weighing up to 70 ton and operating at water depths up to 3000 meters, as well as high energy pumps up to 6000 rpm and 1000 bar • Development, design, and implementation of testing machines to qualify and certify suitability of developed subsea components and subsea units for the related application. This also included complete design studies, design calculations, detail drawings, parts list and support to the testbed • Project management and execution of product and component development, testing, and certification in partnership with several companies and suppliers. Typically managing projects with budgets exceeding CHF 1million. This included administration of the investment costs, controlling and execution of engineering activities through close collaboration with all involved parties • Generation, review, and approval of technical specifications for subsea unit and components, for testing machines and technical inquiries (bearings, seals, motor) • Obtained quotations, generated cost evaluation and produced purchase orders for test machine parts and components • Engaged on large international assignments outside Switzerland to execute technology transfer activities, such as design transfer of subsea motor units, support and coordination for execution of detail drawings of retaining parts and internal parts

Key responsibilities: • Personnel management including hiring, training, integrating, career development, appraisals and professional incentives • Management of the projects, schedules, costs and results as well as the products and engineering activities • Liaison with production, finance, technical assistance departments and its managers to support their requirements and to obtain information that assists the engineering department • Development, management, and maintenance of all technical documentation, interfaces, and solutions, produced by the engineering team, to support internal and external customers • International experiences in Germany to acquire organizational knowledge, increase networking, and obtain technical training • Responsible for cascading and training the quality politics adopted by the company as well as the organizational procedures and safety regulations to the teams

Key responsibilities: • Know-how transfer for Design, Manufacturing, Assembling and Performance Tests from Siemens AG – Germany (Headquarter) to Siemens Brazil for High-voltage Circuit Breakers 72,5kV up to 550kV, to produce the products in Brazil • Analysis of costs and technical conditions for implementation and manufacture • Definition of the national parts and components, development of suppliers and definition of imported components • Specifications of quality plans and tests for parts, components and final machine • International experiences in Germany for the know how transfer of a new generation of High-voltage Circuit Breakers 72,5kV up to 245kV operated by springs to be manufactured in Brazil • Team coordination for the engineering activities to produce the products in Brazil, included schedule, definition of tasks, controlling and integration of electric and mechanical interfaces • Technical support to workshop for assembling and tests (production) and to the service department for start up and maintenance
