Marcelo A. Ostria is an entrepreneur, strategist, consultant, resolution manager and speaker. Previously, Marcelo served at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Washington, D.C, where he oversaw and coordinated a portfolio of more than 130 graduate Kuwaiti graduate students studying in the United States and interpreted Kuwaiti government education, legislation, and regulations for relevant scholarship-specific procedures. Prior to that, Marcelo has developed supplier diversity strategies for major corporations, including AARP and Nielsen Holdings Inc. as a Strategy Fellow at Future Partners, LLC. He also mapped data for existing minority-owned private equity and asset firms, identified multiple strategic partnerships, and developed a strategic awards database for AARP’s diversity platform under a $128 million supplier biding budget. Furthermore, Marcelo displayed public service commitment early in his career, interning at the highest levels of Federal Government offices, including the White House. Marcelo holds a Master of Science degree in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford as a Rotary Global Grant Scholar. He also obtained two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of North Texas -- graduating in the top 1% as a Distinguished Honors Scholar and nationally selected into USA Today's All-USA College Academic Team.
