I am fascinated by people management.Bachelor of Laws, post-graduated in Environmental Law, Masters in Global Law, I hold solid experience in assisting companies from different sectors with environmental litigation and alternative dispute resolution, environmental licensing, solid waste and contaminated areas management, environmental assets, M&A and financial transactions.Since being an intern, I have been working in the environmental area of one of the largest and most respected law firms in Latin America. I had an international experience between 2017 and 2020, when I earned an LL.M. in Germany and a Masters in Belgium. I also worked at a large German law firm in Stuttgart and at the London branch of the Brazilian law firm. I have experience in complex cases of environmental litigation and pre-litigation, including the rupture of the Fundão dam in Mariana/MG, leading cases of management of contaminated areas in the country, discussion on the implementation of reverse logistics systems, in addition to other cases of great impact and relevance. I also have experience in the legal department of a leading multinational company in the mining and energy sectors, where I led environmental and regulatory issues from a legal point of view. In the litigation sphere, I have been contributing to the defense of clients' interests in obtaining favorable decisions, in order to gain from the Judiciary and administrative authorities the recognition of good management of environmental resources and compliance with applicable law. In the negotiation sphere, I have supported clients in achieving good terms for various agreements. I actively worked in the negotiation of the agreement with indigenous peoples led by Cacique Raoni, who claimed spiritual damages due to the accident of Flight 1907 with the crash of the aircraft in the Indigenous Land of Capoto Jarina, in 2006. The agreement remains a leading case of spiritual damages in Brazil and in the world.
