In 2017 Marcelo moved to the US, where he started an accelerator to help Brazilian software companies test product-market fit in the US, partnering with Base Miami, GAA, and Staged Venture funds on the evaluation and selection of SaaS companies in that stage. This 07-year stint started with TOTVS testing its portfolio of products in the US, followed by Thinc, Digibee, Alboom, and Accountfy. During this search for product-market fit, Marcelo joined Digibee as its full-time COO in 2020 with the mission to break into the US market, forming a team that acquired the first lighthouse accounts and raised a Series A in 2021 and a Series B in 2023 to support the US expansion closing Digibee's soft-landing cycle. Back to TOTVS in 2023 Marcelo has now the challenge to bring the extended portfolio for the Supply Chain Industry and Legal Segment. Marcelo has a Master of Science in Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He and his wife have two daughters and live in Florida.
