From 2016 has been added to my assignments the Logistics department of a sister company that produces consumer goods with its own brand. Here I am in charge to prepare the production plan based on production capacity, sales plan and financial possibilities; the purchasing plan, inventory control and negotiations with suppliers; hire the cargo and forwarding agent with competitive costs; dealing with all relevant documents required for the practice of foreign trade. Currently our cargos are mainly from China but not limited to, for several regions in Brazil. Due the good performance this service of International Logistic was recently extended to other clients besides our sister company with pretty satisfactory results.

My first experience at this challenging area managing the account of a new customer with potential to be the most important partner of our company. In fact the challenge here was to introduce a new segment to the customer, a segment in which he had no prior experience and very competitive in Brazil with big brands in the market. My job here was based on following the product from development till its arrival at customer’s factory for assembling. How? Dealing with Chinese potential suppliers products, prices and technologies, combined to the customer preparing RFQ in order to reach marketing needs, benchmarking, following orders, shipments and customs clearance, intermediating the business agreement with both parts till its signature, and, mainly, keep an open mind to solve all the unexpected situations during the introduction of a new product. This case became the most successful in the company and even today this client is the first one of the company.

In charge of sourcing, negotiation and development process regarding Audio/Video products and technologies in Asia to be introduced at Brazilian market. Suppliers evaluation and qualification. Quality assurance. Negotiation of business and technical agreement.Several products were already introduced in Brazil by myself under AIKO brand, as example: LCD, PDP and CRT TVs, DVD, Digital Set Top Box, Home Theaters and others.

Industrias Filizola SA is the biggest player in Brazil at Mechanical and Electronical Scales segment.During almost two years was responsible for the supplying department developing new sources of mechanical and electronical components in Brazil or overseas, including all negotiation involved on process and respective logistical details.

Negotiation of business and technical agreements; sourcing of Audio and Video Products and parts in Brazil and Asia.

During such period I have learned about the routine at the purchasing area and everything essential to be successful during negotiation and new suppliers development process.
