About Marcelo Gerab
I design sounds, visuals and spaces.I am Music Director and Co-Owner at Bloco Studio where I lead Sound Design and Soundtrack Production for short films, exhibitions and any interactive media or physical space.I am also Creative Art Director and Co-Owner at Solo.etc where I lead graphic, object and space design.Over the last decade, I’ve been engaged in the creation of a broad range of audiovisual solutions delivered in many formats for multiple audiences. I had the opportunity to take part of cross-functional teams and work on inspiring projects which led me to keep extending my creative perspective through continuous research and hands-on experimentation. A highlight of these assignments include producing original soundtracks for global brands and building music programes for radio broadcasts; creating an unique trade guide for an avant-garde beer brand which is part of the biggest beverage company in Brazil; and also translating data resources into infographics for a major news media platform.With a careful approach to every part of the process, I am constantly challenging myself to find authentic and compelling ways to present a story. I truly believe that creativity is a matter of linking dots between all kinds of knowledge.
