About Marcelo Kos Silveira Campos

As a business consultant in the area of sustainability, my mission is to help organizations integrate sustainable practices into their operations. With a solid background in the Chemical Industry and sustainable development, I dedicate my career to creating strategies that drive innovation and compliance in this industry and others related to it, such as steel, mining, food, energy, transportation of hazardous materials, among others. My consulting approach is based on a comprehensive analysis of client needs, based on market dynamics, social demands, available and developing technologies, and legal and regulatory requirements. This analysis incorporates well-known corporate management tools, but is based on my own model, called GPM®, developed in practice over 20 years of working with the national and international chemical sector in the Responsible Care® program, and consolidated in a master's thesis proposal for the University of Utrecht. GPM® works on business management based on theories of change, evolution and complexity, something unparalleled in the market.I work with business leaders on issues related to strategic direction/planning and long-term business sustainability and then with teams to produce plans and implement practices consistent with the strategy.I have a proven track record in:- Project Management: From design to execution, I lead projects that respect sustainability principles, ensuring they are viable and impactful;- Multicultural Engagement: My experience in international environments allows me to facilitate communication and collaboration between diverse teams;- Policy Development: I have proven experience in formulating standards and regulations for national and international organizations, such as the UN and ISO, which allows the company's practices to be aligned with global sustainability standards.I am a speaker and have given over 1,000 lectures and courses, both in Brazil and abroad, over a career spanning for more than 30 years. My presentation style is engaging and interactive, combining scientific data with impactful stories that illustrate the importance of sustainability. My main focus is on what I call "The Logic of Sustainability", the origin of GPM®. I approach the topic from the perspective of quality of life, based on sciences such as chemistry and thermodynamics, which is unmatched on the market.I am available at: +55 (11) 91055-9505 (find me on WhatsApp) marcelo.kos@familias-sustentaveis.com.br
