M.Sc. in Product Design for Innovation from Politécnico di Milano (2018), postgraduate in Marketing from FACE/FUMEC and graduated in Industrial Design from Escola de Design – UEMG. From 2001 to 2003 I was Orbe Design’s owner developing new products focused on advertising agencies and industries. I founded Traço Brasil in 2003 developing new products, research and strategic studies. The approach of Traço Brasil is to widen the interaction with diverse professionals enabling to get new knowledge, tools and better attracting new customers. This approach allows Traço Brasil to develop projects for different sizes and sectors of industries highlighting Cozinhas Itatiaia in which many furniture, appliances projects and market research were developed. From 2008 to 2014 I managed the Design Center at SENAI Contagem CEDETEM aiming to deal with Minas Gerais industries’ requests and shortages. The same integration approach of diverse professionals and areas, such as: Design, Industrial Engineering, suppliers etc. from Traço Brasil I was used at the Design Center. Besides, to broad institutional’ partnerships boosting Design in Minas Gerais was also a guideline. The Design Center became reference in technological consultancy and research for local industries ranging the actions from strategy to product development and manufacturing processes.The Design Center widened its actions through institutional national partners, such as: SENAI Nacional, FIEMG, SEBRAE Nacional, SEBRAE-MG, SINDIMOV-MG, UEMG, UFMG, and international ones, such as: COSMOB (Italy), POLI DESIGN (Italy), CATAS (Italy) and IBV(Spain). Several design and dissemination actions, events and projects for industries were developed throughout these partnerships. The exhibition 1 pessoa 10 cadeiras at IV Bienal Brasileira de Design, the RST project (SINDIMOV-MG, SEBRAE- MG, SEBRAE Nacional, COSMOB and Regione Marche), and the Plataforma Ergonômica project were highlighted in this period. Since 2019, he has been design coordinator for the Ligno project at the UFMG School of Design and Architecture, participating in the development and implementation of technology for the reuse of wood residues. Volunteer professor in the Design course at the School of Architecture and Design at UFMG since February 2023.
