Reporting to Anglo American's Global Shared Services located in Johannesburg, South Africa- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of automated solutions based on Python, Power Automate, and Power Platform technologies.- Provide technical support and guidance to team members throughout the solution lifecycle, enhancing overall project quality.- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for streamlined and integrated global processes.- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Azure cloud services, such as Azure SQL Server, Virtual Machines, Azure Devops, and Key Vault.- Contribute to the implementation of the software development life cycle, ensuring team knowledge transfer and assisting in the creation of key documentation, including Process Design Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to continuously enhance and expand the team's automation capabilities.

• Board advisor in the implementation of process improvement projects• Support to the supervision of the blast furnace for strategic cost reduction and process optimization decisions.• Member responsible for implementing ISO9001 Certification.• Interface with chemical analysis laboratories for product quality control.

• Team member responsible for executing quality improvement projects and process optimization:❖ Fatigue resistance stabilization of products sold to an important client; ❖ Increased machine efficiency by 15% with process development and control. • Monitoring of factory performance KPI`s and development of improvement plans: ❖ 40% reduction in the number of welding breaks during the Dry Drawing process; ❖ 10% decrease in lubricant consumption in the Dry Drawing process. Coordination of quality control laboratories: ❖ Determination of clear goals and control charts for routine optimization. • Assistance to quality system team in customer audits and process development: ❖ Creation of operational procedures and excel sheets to help routine`s control; ❖ Responsible for ordering procedures in the Bekaert system. • Assistance for new product development: ❖ Approval of 3 new steelcord constructions for important clients. • Weekly conference with process owners at Bekaert headquarters in Belgium to update project status.
