I am the Inventory Product design lead responsible for building Shopify's inventory management tools. I work alongside product & engineering leaders to establish the product roadmap & long-term green path for the product area and am responsible for shipping key projects to deliver value to Shopify users.I was a part of the leadership group that re-established Shopify's investment strategy for Inventory & Logistics, leading a user-centered thinking approach to triple Shopify's investment in this space. In a hybrid individual contributor/manager role, I was responsible for:• Defining a customer segmentation strategy• Establishing a product roadmap• Hands on design of early vision concepts and key product decisions• Establishing domain metrics• Raising the ceiling of what's possible and upholding design quality• Designing the platform approach for ERP & app integrationsI also led a team of designers (product design, content design, and research) that shipped key improvements to over 2 million Shopify merchants, including:• Fulfilling inventory by shipping configurations• Manually controlling unavailable inventory• Improved Location Management

I lead a design team that's building the future of Inventory Management for Shopify merchants. We design experiences for our iOS and Android mobile apps and the Web, as well as ensuring great APIs and a platform experience for 3rd party apps.My cross-disciplinary UX team includes experts in Product Design, UX Research, and Content Design.In my time at Shopify I've led projects that impacted 2 million merchants of all sizes, including:• Reimagining how merchants & apps track the states and quantities of their inventory• Enabling merchants to view and manage their inventory levels on Shopify's iOS and Android mobile apps• Improving how merchants manage and track their inventory movements
