Field Asset Engineer - Auckland Metro
Current• Responsible for civil & track work scopes, engineering & design input, change requests required and quality assurance. AMR, RNGIM Projects (2019 – 2023) & RNR Project (2023 – current). • Responsible for asset management of a section of Auckland Metro Track (2019 – 2023) • Management of track, civils and structures assets in the field. • Monitor effectiveness of engineering standard requirements and safety cases to provide assurance on compliance • Creates the work bank plan and work orders to support the delivery of KPI's in asset management and business plans. • Provides technical advice to the Production and Delivery Team. • Carries out engineering inspection, hand-back and sites audits to ensure the asset condition meets code requirements for the operation. • Supports the Manager (Asset Engineer) to prepare and execute project plans. • Control and monitor work progress to ensure budget and schedule are met. • Engagement in Health and Safety Achievement: Accomplished the AMR Project from 2020 to 2021 within the timeframe despite the occurrence of Covid-19 pandemic. Advanced Rolling Contact Fatigue (RCF) on the Auckland Metro Rail Network in 2019 and 2020 caused significant disruption. Blanket 40 kmph speed restrictions were imposed in 2020 and urgent repairs to network infrastructure were required to enable TSRs to be removed.
